Humanities and Future Studies
The Future Studies Laboratory is a center for theoretical, philosophical and artistic experimentation that makes use of the Future Studies methodology from the field of Humanities. We are a team of researchers y_cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_thinkers, as well as professionals in the artistic and literary field, whose objective is critically reflect on the production of speculative imaginaries.
We are interested in connecting different work and research networks from the field of humanities, cultural studies, critical theory of culture, cyberculture, ecocriticism, gender studies and decolonial theory, to think critically about the problems of the present from the possibilities and alternatives offered the construction of future scenarios.

Reflexión crítica
Nuestros trabajos se centran en la reflexión crítica en torno a los desafíos contemporáneos, utilizando herramientas de los Estudios del Futuro y de las Humanidades para repensar el presente.
Fomentar la transdisciplinariedad
Trabajos desde diferentes disciplinas artísticas, teóricas y académicas desde un enfoque de género, ecocrítico y decolonial.
Imaginarios alternativos
Nos interesa analizar narrativas especulativas y visiones alternativas que nos invitan a (re)imaginar el futuro de la sociedad y la cultura.
Qué hacemos
En el Laboratorio de Estudios del Futuro, nos dedicamos a reflexionar sobre futuros posibles, cuestionando suposiciones arraigadas y desafiando convenciones establecidas.
